連結：食品藥物管理局密切注意美國小麥田發現基因轉殖植株之訊息
美方主動向本局通報，美國農業部(USDA)於今(5/30)日發布「俄勒岡州(Oregon)小麥田間發現基因轉殖植株」訊息，食品藥物管理局於接獲通報後，已要求美方提出說明並儘速完成調查。
根據美國農業部所發布之訊息，該基因轉殖植株被許可於1996-2005年進行小麥田間試驗，且已於2004年完成美國食品藥物管理局(FDA)之安全性評估，惟迄今美國尚未許可任何基因改造小麥流通販售或商品化。
我國每年輸入小麥約有八成來自美國，每年約120萬噸，主要來自蒙大拿州(Montana)、堪薩斯州(Kansas)及愛達荷州(Idaho)。但至目前為止，我國尚未准許基因改造小麥輸入。
食品藥物管理局表示，將密切注意美國小麥田發現基因轉殖植株之後續調查情形，必要時採取加強邊境管制措施。

食品藥物管理局表示，我國未准許基因改造小麥進口，針對日前美國農業部(USDA)之資訊，美國俄勒岡州(Oregon)小麥田間發現基因轉殖植株乙事，即日起將加強美國小麥邊境查驗
據瞭解，美國俄勒岡州小麥栽種以軟白小麥(soft white wheat)為主，我國並未輸入此類小麥。我國輸入美國小麥，主要來自蒙大拿州(Montana)、堪薩斯州(Kansas)及愛達荷州(Idaho)

To the Oregon Wheat family,
Earlier today (5/29/13) the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) reported that
genetically engineered (GE) glyphosate-resistant wheat plants have been found on a single field in
Eastern Oregon. We have been aware of this potential situation for several weeks and have done
everything we can to assist APHIS in its investigation. We have been fortunate that this issue remained
out of the media until we received a definitive answer from APHIS. We now have that confirmation,
however the APHIS investigation into how it happened and what measures, if any, need to be taken for
the 2013 harvest is Still progressing.
We are working closely with US Wheat, National Association of Wheat Growers, Oregon Department of
Agriculture, APHIS, and others on what we need to do next to protect growers, customers, and our
supply chain. We will do our best to keep everyone informed.
